Fage Vegetable Dip

While looking over an online client’s food log recently, I came across a mention of a homemade vegetable dip (he wasn’t a fan of hummus). I asked for the recipe, it was his wife’s by the way, and he was gracious enough to send it to me. I must say, it looks delish!

Another big plus for those of you who may lack serious kitchen skills, it is as simple as it gets. Without further ado, here is the Fage Vegetable Dip.

Fage Vegetable Dip

Ingredients

  • 12oz Fage 2% Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 package Lipton vegetable soup and dip mix
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

Simply mix the Lipton vegetable soup mix into the yogurt, then cover and chill for two hours. Remix and serve. Add pepper to taste.

Pretty simple huh? While this isn’t the exact recipe he sent me (they used Knorr vegetable soup mix, but that contained MSG and trans fat, so I put the Lipton one in its place), but feel free to experiment with other spices, or using a full fat Greek yogurt, or even a full fat regular yogurt for different tastes and consistencies. I would love to hear people’s feedback on what they liked best.
