What I Am Up To

This has been a crazy semester thus far, and things are really about to hit the fan. I have a ton of projects/presentations as well as tests and quizzes all due over the next few weeks. On top of my data collection for my thesis several days per week.

Today I had to observe an outpatient dietitian counsel a few different patients. It was interesting to see how she went about counseling the patients, and to see where her philosophy differed from mine. Overall it was definitely a good experience.

My wife and I are also in the process of moving this weekend, which is never fun. I have moved 7 times since May of 2007, including this one, so to say I am pretty tired of it might be a bit of an understatement. I am also attending an all-day training seminar in southern Maine tomorrow, where EC and Martin Rooney are presenting, as I need to stay on top of my strength and conditioning education just as much as my nutrition.

I have all that in addition to blogging and writing articles, as well as working with my stable of online clients.

Finally, my wife is due in about a month, so we have that on our plates as well!

I am not telling you all this to complain or beat my chest about how busy I am. I am simply pointing it out so that if my blogging falls off a little bit over the next few weeks or months, I’m not going anywhere, I am just busy!

Plus I think it might be nice to know that I am a real person, with a real life beyond my nutrition and training blog! Hope you all have a great weekend!
